Hi pals!

It’s been a busy few months for me. Next week, I make my big move to Australia, so my blog might drop off for a bit while I get settled. I’ve gotten to cram in some final North American conference speaking appearances in Halifax (AtlSecCon), Milwaukee (CypherCon), and Chicago (ChiBrrCon). I’ve also been on a bunch of awesome podcasts and news shows, and I want to make sure I give them justice here – and give you some learning material whilst I am in transit.

This was such a fun interview on the weirdness of dealing with industrial cybersecurity incidents with the BeyondTrust “Adventures with Alice & Bob” crew. I get to tell one of my very strangest stories.

What’s next for me? I am not sure. I’m kind of starting my life over across the world and there isn’t a ton of certainty for my future. I really want to bring my best to help secure Australian critical infrastructure. However, moving internationally is incredibly challenging and involves a lot of leaning on the community and getting back to the basics of finding a place to live and rebuilding a life. I’m giving a talk in Melbourne the day after I land, and I will be at SinCon in Singapore in a few weeks – so no worries, I push forward with grim determination.
